The more players you knock out the bigger your winnings will be, and the larger the bounty on your head will grow. This continues until the 1st place winner knocks out the 2nd place winner, at which point the first place winner will take the full bounty.

Bounty Builders Knockout Builder award you the full bounty amount when you knock a player out.

Types

Regular

Non-guaranteed tournament with a prize pools that is determined by how many players take part in the tournament. The prize pool grows with every player that joins in.

For example, if the buy-in price for a tournament has an $11 buy-in ($10+$1), $10 is added to the prize pool for every player that joins, re-enters, rebuys, or adds-on. If 100 players play in the $11 tournament the prize pool will be $1,000.

Guaranteed

Guaranteed tournaments have a guaranteed minimum prize pools up for grabs, once the minimum amount of players have registered prior to the tournaments schedule start time. If the amount of buy-ins, rebuys / add-ons or re-entries from players exceed the guaranteed amount, the prize pool will grow accordingly.

Freeze-out

A freeze-out allows you only one entry into the tournament, once you have lost all you are eliminated conversely if you knock a player out, they’re not able to rebuy or re-enter.

Rebuy

Rebuy tournaments allow you to rebuy the starting stack chips once you have run out of chips or have less chips than you when you started the tournament. If you get knocked out or have less chips than you started with, within the rebuy period, you can hang on to your seat by paying the rebuy fee.

Rebuy periods differ by tournaments, the tournament description will provide the amount of levels you are allowed to rebuy, as well as the amount of times you are allowed to rebuy for. At the end of the rebuy stage, an add-on break starts, the amount of chips available to add onto your stack differ by tournament. Once the add-on period is over, players can no longer buy-in or rebuy into the tournament.

Re-Entry

Re-entry tournaments are similar to rebuy tournaments in the sense that you get a second chance if you get knocked out but only if you are eliminated during the late registration period. The amount of times you can re-enter into a tournament is dependent on the tournament, through generally up to three re-entries are permitted. The price of Re-entry is the same as the initial buy-in.

Multi-entries

Multi-entries is supercharged seating! You can hold more than one seat in the tournament at the same time! The multiple seats you are on will never be on the same table. If you have more seats than there are tables available, your seats will merge their stack together, giving you a single seat with an impressive chip stack.

Bounty Tournaments

In a bounty tournaments you get an additional cash prize when you eliminate a player. A cash bounty is placed on every entrant in the tournament. The winner of the knockout tournament, wins their own bounty. At the start of the tournament, you pay an extra buy-in. This extra buy-in is the bounty on your head. We offer two types of bounty tournaments. Progressive Knockout and Bounty Builders.

In a Progressive Knockout, you only receive part of the bounty that’s on the player’s head (generally 50%, differs by tournament) the rest of their bounty gets added to the bounty on your head. The more players you knock out the bigger your winnings will be, and the larger the bounty on your head will grow. This continues until the 1st place winner knocks out the 2nd place winner, at which point the first place winner will take the full bounty. Bounty Builders give you the full bounty amount when you knock a player out.

Satellites

Satellites tournaments offer players a chance to win an entry into a larger tournament at a reduction of the fee. Satellites typically don’t typically include cash prizes, but they’re a great way for players with smaller bankrolls to gain entry into larger tournaments with impressive prize pools.

Time limited

As the name suggests time limited tournaments end after a set amount of time. If you survive the fast paced action at the time of the tournament ending, you are awarded a portion of the prize pool dependant on the amount of chips you have in relation the other remaining players.

Anonymous

Player`s identities are hidden from each other during the course of the tournament, this format can be applied to various tournaments, for instance you could have a knockout re-entry tournament which is anonymous.

Boost

The Boost Poker table will look like a regular table, but players who fold their cards are immediately moved onto a random table against different opponent`s before the hand is completed. Boost tables offer the option to stay and watch the hand play out, but you don’t need to wait around for your next hand.

Shootout

In Shootouts, play continues on the same table until only one player remains at that table. Players are not balance around as other players are eliminated from the tournament. The winning players from each table are then seated at new tables, where the play again until there is only one player remaining.

Stack Sizes

Short

In a short stack tournament the starting chips are less than you would usually get on a relatively similar tournament with a regular stack size. Short stack tourneys are ideal for players who want to play quicker games with quick knock outs.

Deep

Deep stack tournaments are the opposite of a short stack tournament. You start with more chips than you would in a regular tournament, but so does everyone else. It’s a good game for players who like to take some time to get settled or who want enough chips to play around with.

Mega

Mega stacks can be thought of as the marathon tournament. With up to 4 times as many starting chips as regular tournaments, mega stack tournaments are the perfect place to settle in and get to know the other players’ play styles, tells and overall personalities.

Speed

Slow

Slow tournaments are for players who want some more time to settle in and strategize on their own time. We classify slow tournaments as any tournaments with blinds going up every 12-15 minutes.

Regular

Regular speed tournaments are about what you expect from online poker. Blinds that climb fast enough to keep the player count going down while still giving you a chance to settle in and get to know your competitors. The regular speed blinds usually go up every 10 minutes.

Turbo

Ideal for players who want to play faster tournaments, the turbo tournament has blinds going up every 6 minutes.

Hyper

Hyper tournaments are perfect for aggressive players who love high paced action. Blinds go up every 3 minutes and often combine with short starting stacks to make knocking out other players a breeze.

Seating

Heads up refers to tables where two players play against each other. In a tournament setting you will play against 1 other player until one of you get knocked out. The winner then moves on to another table to play against someone else.

Tables sizes various from 4-Max all the way up to a full ring (9 seater) each tournament will display the amount of seats on each table.

Tournament Cancellation

In the unlikely event that a tournament should be cancelled, our main priority is to compensate players in the fairest and most equitable way possible. Depending on the state that the tournament was cancelled and the timing of the cancellation, one of the following methods, based on our sole discretion, will be applied.

There are 3 refund policies based on when the TOURNAMENT is cancelled:

  1. Tournament is cancelled before start

    • All players get back their contributions and fee paid at registration, the means being returned in the form they have been paid (cash for cash, TM for TM, ticket for ticket, CP for CP).

    • In GTD-tournaments, the amount of guaranteed prize is returned to the House.

    • In Knockout tournaments, knockout fee is returned to players.

    • In Windfalls, jackpot fee is returned to players.

  2. Tournament is cancelled after start (No Players have received prizes yet)

    • The House takes the fee paid by eliminated players.

    • The remaining players get back their fees.

    • The remaining and eliminated players contributions are allocated as follows:

      • 50% of contributions are divided equally among the remaining players

      • 50% of contributions are divided among the remaining players proportionally to their amount of chips left at the beginning of the hand in which the tournament is cancelled.

    • In Satellite tournaments, the remaining players get their fees back, and the contributions are divided as mentioned above. Tickets are not awarded.

    • In GTD-tournaments, the guaranteed prize amount is returned to the House, contributions are allocated among players as mentioned above.

    • In Knockout tournaments, remaining players get back the knockout fee paid by them at registration.

    • In Time-limited tournaments with “Tickets for surviving” Payout table:

      • The House takes the fee paid by eliminated players.

      • The remaining players get back their fees.

      • The remaining players get back their contributions.

    • In Windfalls, jackpot fee is NOT returned to players. Player will receive tickets to the same Windfall they played in.

  3. Tournament is cancelled after start (Players have received prizes)

    • The House takes the fee paid by eliminated players.

    • The remaining players get back their fees.

    • The remaining players are awarded equally with the last unpaid prize and if there are still remaining funds in the prizepool, the players will receive funds proportional to the amount of chips left at the beginning of the hand in which the tournament is cancelled.

Example: if the tournament paid out 50 players, however there are only 42 players left, each player receives an equal portion that place 42 would have paid out.

    • In GTD-tournaments, the minimum prizes are paid from player contributions (just like in non GTD-tournaments, see points 3).

    • If the amount of player contributions is not enough to pay minimum prizes (see point 3), the House provides the insufficient amount from guaranteed prize pool. The remaining funds from the guaranteed prizepool is returned to the House.

    • In Knockout tournaments, remaining players get back the knockout fee paid by them at registration and contributions will be distributed (see point 3).

    • In Windfalls, jackpot fee is NOT returned to players. Player will receive tickets to the same Windfall they played in.

Individual Disconnection:

When an individual player experiences a disconnection (as a result of the poker room experiencing technical issues) which results in them being knocked out of a tournament/SNG, the player will be refunded a ticket to that tournament/SNG, which may be used whenever the player wishes to do so. However if the player placed in the tournament and received a prize, they will NOT receive a refund. If the player was eliminated prior to the disconnection, they will not receive a refund.

Paused Tournaments

If a tournament needs to be paused, either due to maintenance or technical issues, a message will be sent to all players in the tournament informing them that the tournament will be paused and when the tournament will start up again. 15 minutes prior to the tournament resuming, in client messages will be sent out every 5 minutes informing players when the tournament will resume play.

In the unlikely case that the time provided to players prior to the tournament being paused has passed and players still can’t login, in client messages will be sent out informing players of the new starting time of the tournament. If the player was not successful in completing the tournament, they will need to contact customer support in order to receive the refund in the form of a ticket to the same tournament. However if the player placed in the tournament and received a prize, they will NOT receive a refund.
